My name is Steven Carrasco, owner and massage therapist of Zen Medic Wellness, LLC. I'm a retired Army veteran of 25 years, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Certified Holistic Health Coach. I retired from the military in 2018, earned my certificate as a Holistic Health Coach from AFPA (American Fitness Professionals & Associates) in 2021, and graduated with honors from the Massage Therapy program at Intellitec College in June 2022. From an early age, I’ve been drawn to help others from being a student athletic trainer while in high school, becoming an Army medic and leader serving our country for over 25 years, to continuously looking for new modalities/ways to further help individuals. During my career, I experienced a few medical “scares” (cancer and a heart attack) and I’m ever so grateful to God for orchestrating those who had a hand in my well-being and helped me to get back on my feet. Through my life experiences, training, and continuing education it is my mission to share a more natural and holistic way to improve health and wellness. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children going camping, hiking new trails, gardening, and attending my children’s many activities to name a few.
